Fabulous, the best vitamins ever! June 5, 2010 Maria Silva (Chile) I think it is a fantastic product, I am living in South America and going to order it. It keeps my body in shape in winter times, or even when weather changes
Only this flavor works against cold and flu, really! April 19, 2010 Reza Farivar (Ubana, IL USA) OK, I agree, ruby lemon honey is not the best taste, but it works the best! Just add a teaspoon of honey to it, and it beats every cold and flu in the book. Seriously, I have tried the raspberry and orange ones, and even though they provide general well being and good feeling, they don't beat cold and flu.
If you're feeling like catching a cold, just have one of these (with the added teaspoon of honey) and sleep, you'll be fine tomorrow. If you already have a cold, have one of these a day and in 3 days you're good again! I don't know how they do it, but it's that good.
It's so good that all my family and friends are now hooked on it. It's sad that because of the not so pleasant taste it's getting harder and harder to find it in grocery stores. I'm afraid that they might discontinue it. In fact one of these days I should buy a 100 pack and keep it in my attic for EmergenC days!
It works everytime! April 3, 2010 Raj (MI, USA) We have been using this product for more than 3 years now. My entire family uses it any time we feel we are coming down with cold or sore throat. The taste does take some getting used to, but now we actually like the taste too. Immediately after drinking it, you feel hydrated and energized. It definitely seems to help fight infections and improve immunity. We have tried other similar products, but we found Emergen-c Immune Defense Ruby Lemon fuzzy drink works the best.
Great for an extra boost of vitamin C March 7, 2010 JeanA (Upstate, NY) I like to use this product as a bit of extra insurance against colds and sickness. I use this before I travel and anytime I have been exposed to illness. I think it really helps keep my immune system functioning at top level.
Awful Taste, not worth the benefits January 5, 2010 Margo (Zion, Israel) While the benefits are spoken for, the taste is so awful it's not worth it. I had to hold my nose to take it down, and it made it. But then, from the fizziness, it made me burp and the smell of it actually made me vomit. If you open the package the stuff just reeks, and I am sure that it works for people who can stomach the awful taste and smell... but it's absolutely horrible. My co-worker tried to add a packet of splenda when she tried it to make it palatable, but she couldn't get even a few swallows down even with that. If they made it in pill form, I'd probably be first in line but this stuff is just putrid. Smells like a landfill on a warm summer's day and does taste like propane, like the other posters said. I usually love Emergen-C products, but this one is really just not worth it.
Source Naturals Wellness Formula, Herbal Defense Complex, Capsules, 240 capsules is a much better way of kicking the cold/flu and getting your family back on track.

Vitamin Supplements
There are a number of essential vitamins
that the body needs to function properly and it is possible to take
these in the form for vitamin supplement. The majority of people do not
have a balanced diet and they may be lacking in certain vitamins which
means that they require a vitamin supplement to ensure that they do not
have a deficiency of an essential vitamin. A health professional or
dietary technician is the best person to give advice on any vitamin
supplement that a person should take. It is important to seek
professional advice before taking any vitamin supplement. This is
because there are some vitamins that can be toxic if too much is
consumed and a vitamin supplement may not be appropriate if there is
enough of the vitamin already in the food a person eats.
Some categories of people may require more types of vitamin supplement
than others. Vegetarians are often deficient in certain vitamins that
are only found in animal products, for example, and a vitamin supplement
is the ideal solution to this problem. Vegetarians do need to be aware
that some vitamin supplement manufacturing processes involve animal
products and it is important for them to read the labels. A large number
of synthetic vitamin supplement products are available which will enable
a vegetarian to take them without contravening their dietary beliefs or
needs.

Children will often need a vitamin supplement, especially when they are
extremely young. This is because a lot of children do not eat a
sufficient variety of foods in their early years and a vitamin
supplement can help compensate for this natural deficiency. Breast
feeding has long been recommended as a source of all the essential
nutrients but women who choose not to or are unable to bottle feed may
be concerned as to whether their baby needs a vitamin supplement. The
large majority of baby milk formulas contain additional vitamins to
prevent the need for a vitamin supplement to be given. It is important
to discuss any concerns over the need for a baby or child to take a
vitamin supplement with a health professional to ensure that the correct
solution is found.
Elderly people or those suffering from certain diseases or illnesses are
other groups of people that may need to take a vitamin supplement. The
body may often need a vitamin
supplement to compensate for a person not
being able to consume the recommended daily allowance of certain
vitamins through their normal diet.
