Excellent Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin February 26, 2010 T. shaw (AZ) My dermatologist recommended this after I continued to break out from moisturizers and other anti-aging prescription products. It's weird at first for me to understand because it's an acid and it doesn't make sense that it would moisturize. I'm not sure how it works but I've been using it for 3 months and have had no adverse reaction. Like other reviewers - especially those who reviewed the 60 ml bottle - the dropper goes a long way. Use sparingly. It's expensive through my doc, so happy to find it here for $20 less than what I paid. One other note - according to the website cosmetic data base which ranks thousands of cosmetics for their toxicity - this product received a rating of 1 (zero is the best score, 10 the worst). I was really thrilled to discover this because I feel that it is safe to use daily.
I highly recommend for anyone who has problematic skin.
Skinceuticals helps but is not as good as the sample February 19, 2010 Jane I had a sample of this product that worked really well. So I ordered a bottle. The product I received does not hydrate like the sample.
Finally!! February 3, 2010 Sun Shine (Boston, MA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Over the past year, my skin has changed from oily to dry and I have noticeable fine lines around my eyes. I have tried every product out there, many over $100. Not one product has made any sort of difference to my skin other than making it dryer or irritated. I took a chance with Skinceuticals, and went with the faith of reviews on Amazon. I might never go back to or have to try any other product. The combination of CE Ferulic and the B5 (as suggested by many previous reviewers) is the most amazing thing that has happen to my skin. I'm getting compliments again and the fine lines are less noticeable. Finally, a great product that works!!! It's worth the price.
Worth it January 19, 2010 Phoenix 79 (California U.S.A) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Arrived quickly.
Have purchased this product before on the recommendation it should be used with CE Ferulic. My skin is normally awful at this time of the year dehydrated and wrinkled with central heating but I have to say that with the combination of these two plus Revele and Prevage my skin looks so much better.
Complements the other Skinceuticals products! November 3, 2009 D. Wright (Arizona) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product, when used with other Skinceutical products is very effective. Recommend that a dermatologist or esthetician recommend specific Skinceutical products as it can be confusing. I use the B-5 Gel over the corrective products and under the moisturizers.

Vitamin Supplements
There are a number of essential vitamins
that the body needs to function properly and it is possible to take
these in the form for vitamin supplement. The majority of people do not
have a balanced diet and they may be lacking in certain vitamins which
means that they require a vitamin supplement to ensure that they do not
have a deficiency of an essential vitamin. A health professional or
dietary technician is the best person to give advice on any vitamin
supplement that a person should take. It is important to seek
professional advice before taking any vitamin supplement. This is
because there are some vitamins that can be toxic if too much is
consumed and a vitamin supplement may not be appropriate if there is
enough of the vitamin already in the food a person eats.
Some categories of people may require more types of vitamin supplement
than others. Vegetarians are often deficient in certain vitamins that
are only found in animal products, for example, and a vitamin supplement
is the ideal solution to this problem. Vegetarians do need to be aware
that some vitamin supplement manufacturing processes involve animal
products and it is important for them to read the labels. A large number
of synthetic vitamin supplement products are available which will enable
a vegetarian to take them without contravening their dietary beliefs or
needs.

Children will often need a vitamin supplement, especially when they are
extremely young. This is because a lot of children do not eat a
sufficient variety of foods in their early years and a vitamin
supplement can help compensate for this natural deficiency. Breast
feeding has long been recommended as a source of all the essential
nutrients but women who choose not to or are unable to bottle feed may
be concerned as to whether their baby needs a vitamin supplement. The
large majority of baby milk formulas contain additional vitamins to
prevent the need for a vitamin supplement to be given. It is important
to discuss any concerns over the need for a baby or child to take a
vitamin supplement with a health professional to ensure that the correct
solution is found.
Elderly people or those suffering from certain diseases or illnesses are
other groups of people that may need to take a vitamin supplement. The
body may often need a vitamin
supplement to compensate for a person not
being able to consume the recommended daily allowance of certain
vitamins through their normal diet.
