It Really is Perfect! August 30, 2010 J. Weeks (Lake Stevens, WA USA) I started taking these vitamins about 1 year before I started trying to concieve. I used to take One-A-Day Womens but they made me sick to my stomach and I needed to change vitamins. I never had a problem with these upsetting my stomach, even when I had morning sickness and took them on an empty stomach. You never really know how well a vitamin works, you just buy them and hope they do the trick. Well after I got pregnant of course you have to do all the blood work to check your vitamin levels and make sure everything is ok, yada yada yada. Well, my blood work came back perfect, my iron levels were great even though I've had problems with anemia in the past and my vitamin D was even perfect which is really rare for my area (Greater Seattle area, we don't get any sun).
very good product August 17, 2010 Maria Koleva These vitamins are good even though you have to take 3 pills per day and their "grass" smell is a bit too strong. They are definitely very soft on the stomach and they do not make you nauseous. I am sorry i did not know about them in the first 3 months of my pregnancy. I would recommend them to every mom-to-be.
Excellent! August 13, 2010 LibertyGirl I absolutely love these vitamins! This is my third pregnancy and for my first two I just took whatever vitamins the Dr gave me but not this time. During my previous pregnancies I was hungry all the time and gained too much weight, this time my appetite is normal I eat a little more than normal and feel great. I my weight gain is normal and Im not hungry ALL the time, I think its because of the higher quality vitamins. I feel like Im getting all the nutrition I need.
Other prenatal vitaimans have aluminum in them! August 7, 2010 Rex O. Ishibashi (Mill Valley, California USA) Wish that i had taken these my entire pregnancy. I had a 100% natural childbirth at home, and we only eat organic foods, and are for the most part very aware of every chemical we use in our home and certainly the ones we ingest. However, i suffered from very bad morning sickness while pregnant and these were very hard on my stomach and would repeat on me for hours after taken even if i took them before bed. So, my doctor (knowing my lifestyle) reccommended Sturats Prenatal one a day vitamins. BAD DOC!!
Dealing with the indigestion issues and nausea in hindsight would have been FAR better than what i just read on ingredient label on the bottle of the Sturat vitamins. They contain aluminum!!!! My baby is 6 weeks now, and literally as i am painstakingly researching about vaccinations due to the heavy metals they contain and the other harmful side affects, I've come to realize that I've been poisoning myself and my little guy all along. I wish someone had warned me....
I've just switched back to the New Chapter pills, and I am very happy and now that i'm not pregers they are a lot easier to digest. Hope if you are pregnant you don't make the same mistake that i did, and that you read all the labels (even if given to you by your doctor) and that you question your doctor about the products you can take ESPECIALLY while breast feeding.
Great Product July 22, 2010 Tina No complaints. I am 20 weeks pregnant and have been taking this particular kind of prenatal vitamins the whole time. I have been absolutely nausea free since the beginning and I must attribute some of this "luck" to the vitamins!

Vitamin Supplements
There are a number of essential vitamins
that the body needs to function properly and it is possible to take
these in the form for vitamin supplement. The majority of people do not
have a balanced diet and they may be lacking in certain vitamins which
means that they require a vitamin supplement to ensure that they do not
have a deficiency of an essential vitamin. A health professional or
dietary technician is the best person to give advice on any vitamin
supplement that a person should take. It is important to seek
professional advice before taking any vitamin supplement. This is
because there are some vitamins that can be toxic if too much is
consumed and a vitamin supplement may not be appropriate if there is
enough of the vitamin already in the food a person eats.
Some categories of people may require more types of vitamin supplement
than others. Vegetarians are often deficient in certain vitamins that
are only found in animal products, for example, and a vitamin supplement
is the ideal solution to this problem. Vegetarians do need to be aware
that some vitamin supplement manufacturing processes involve animal
products and it is important for them to read the labels. A large number
of synthetic vitamin supplement products are available which will enable
a vegetarian to take them without contravening their dietary beliefs or
needs.

Children will often need a vitamin supplement, especially when they are
extremely young. This is because a lot of children do not eat a
sufficient variety of foods in their early years and a vitamin
supplement can help compensate for this natural deficiency. Breast
feeding has long been recommended as a source of all the essential
nutrients but women who choose not to or are unable to bottle feed may
be concerned as to whether their baby needs a vitamin supplement. The
large majority of baby milk formulas contain additional vitamins to
prevent the need for a vitamin supplement to be given. It is important
to discuss any concerns over the need for a baby or child to take a
vitamin supplement with a health professional to ensure that the correct
solution is found.
Elderly people or those suffering from certain diseases or illnesses are
other groups of people that may need to take a vitamin supplement. The
body may often need a vitamin
supplement to compensate for a person not
being able to consume the recommended daily allowance of certain
vitamins through their normal diet.
